UAL Level 2 performing and production arts

In this Unit we discussed how we improved form the start of the term or year until now, for us to see if we have made a dramatic change or we've just stayed in the same position from them and now which would be very difficult considering if we are thinking of going to level 3. To do this we were asked to first create a skills list as a class for is to see which skills we has a whole have developed or need to work on in order to persue your dream in going to level 3.

Unit 5/6/7 Immigration On Thursday 10th we were in K034 but Rob wasn't in today so we had a cover teacher and cover lesson. To begin with we done a warm up which was that we played a game of splat with a member of the class starting it of which was Alton so it can start us off with what was going to come up in the lesson, we were then given our task which was using what we done in unit four create a small performance based around why immigrates would try and get away from the country there from then perform it in front of the class.  So in my group it was myself Mya, Shevell and Kaliyah and we had to come up with an idea so we based our one on fleeing the country as there was a war going on. To begin with we decided to do a split scene involving me and Mya with Shevell and Kaliyah by doing this we began with myself and Mya doing our little scene which was that Mya was my mother and I was her daughter, so she was telling me that we have to leave the country straight away ...

Context unit 3/4: We have commissioned a project requiring a 2/3 silent films with original scores, which are to be performed with live acting and music at an external venue, (hopefully The Camden peoples theatre) and internally here at the college. This is a real commission and must be approached professionally. You will be working as a team with both musicians from L2 music and students from L2/3 creative media, as well as meetings with the directors to discuss proposals with the project management. The sessions and assignment will fulfil a unique experience for you as actors realising the disciplines of both work to a camera and collaborative work in the performing arts sector.
